Brewing Shangri-La Beer takes a lot of work. And it takes a special place. To make sure every single bottle of beer really is Shangri-La in a Bottle, we went to incredible lengths to build a fully customized brewery. Every pipe, every vat, every brick is there for the same reason: to brew awesome beer. We didn’t just build a brewery, we built a monument to the craft of making beer.
To build the Shangri-La Brewery we worked with an international team to design a truly state of the art facility. You only get to Shangri-La by combining nature with technology and precision. It turns out the Swiss know something about that.
Fully Integrated to Guarantee Quality
To satisfy our exacting demand for the highest quality beer, we made the decision to fully integrate production. We don’t outsource. We keep it local. The Shangri-La Brewery has a full bottling line and a state of the art, computerized brewing system. Why? Because that’s what it takes to bring you to Shangri-La. If we do it ourselves, we know it’s done right.
All-Natural Means All-Natural
We don’t cut corners. We use the best ingredients: 1000 year-old heirloom Qingker Barley and 100 year-old Tibetan Mountain Spring Water. Our brewery was specifically designed to let nature be the flavor. From the light that dapples in from our atrium to the Yaks grazing on our front lawn, we’ve done everything possible to find balance and harmony. You can’t beat natural.
State of the Art Health and Safety
Craft beer takes passion and precision. We have the best independent brewing laboratory in all of China. We’re also fully certified by all the relevant health and safety inspectors. (We’re the only craft brewery that is.) We do this because it matters to us. You can’t get to Shangri-La by cutting corners. Quality, passion, precision and craft, that’s Shangri-La in a Bottle.
